After installing the driver, the minimal volume setting (1%) blasts out like when volume was at like 75%. (and i don't have the integrated subwoofer anymore but i always needed dell's original driver for that to work)
I tried looking around and i currently don't see any way to fix this, has this occured with others?
I have a Inspiron 9400 (E1705) Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8384&DEV_7690&SUBSYS_102801CD&REV_1022
Hello, I am looking for a driver with so-called "stereo mix" functionality for the above device.
I have used the original OEM driver (with some funny problems sometimes like one of the channels / or none could not be heard over headphone) but it worked mostly fine.
I used also Microsoft generic driver, which worked fine - even showing separate headphone output device and detecting external (line-in) and build-in (lid) microphones separately.
I have tried both the recent 6365 and previous version of the driver on my M17x and neither works. They install correctly after cleanly removing then rebooting the official drivers, but on reboot I get a Code 10.
MSInfo32 shows my hardware ID as: PNP Device ID HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7675&SUBSYS_102802A1&REV_1001\4&2908D4ED&0&0001
I've tried a great number of fixes, including the official Dell driver; however, I can't seem to get anything to install on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installation on a Dell Inspirion 1545. The Hardware ID is
PCI\ven_8086&DEV_293E&SUBSYS_02AA1028&Rev_03
Do you have any ideas or have you seen this before? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me, and thanks for working on the driver in the first place (Since Dell doesn't seem to want to do it or have it done by IDT).
