Merry Christmas to all of my (admittedly very few) blog readers.  I hope it was wonderful for all of you.

Yesterday, I moved my stuff in to NC State for my next year of college.  As usual, this includes my web server.  I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to post about anything over the summer.  Hopefully I will get more of a chance now.  We will see.

After seemingly forever (I haven't had a break from school for longer than a week since this time last year), it is finally time for Christmas break again!  All my exams are over and I made Bs in both Physics II and Economics.  I don't have my Calculus score back yet.  :(  It feels quite strange having no homework to do or tests to study for.

Can you believe it?  I actually made a B on my most recent Calculus III test.  Pigs fly and hell has frozen over....

I have just noticed NCDOT has started using two new (used, but rebuilt) locomotives on the Piedmont train.  The are both EMD F59PH units (not to be confused with the two mechanically similar but very-different-looking F59PHI units they already had).  They have the numbers 1810 (City of Greensboro) and 1859 (City of High Point).  Both are ex-GO Transit units from Canada.  It shouldn't be long until there are videos of these units on YouTube.  Now that NCDOT has 4 locomotives again, I was expecting that I would no longer see the Amtrak GE P42DC units on

Now that I am pretty sure TVStext is stable and usable, I am trying to spread the word about it.  I am really hoping that other people might find it useful too.  So far, I have made posts about it on NCSU Wolfline's facebook page and in TheWolfWeb's forum.  If anybody has any other ideas about how I might advertise it, be sure to tell me.  I want TVStext to become popular :)

I have only been here (Summer School) one day and some idiot has already set off the fire alarm.  About 10 minutes after I got back from the floor meeting, the firealarm sounded.  At first, I thought it was a drill, but when I got outside I heard a guy talking about how he and some friends had been trying to cook hamburgers inside (Idiots!) and set off the firealarm.  At least it wasn't T-storming at the time, like it has been for most of the day.  I just hope this doesn't happen alot.

Well, I got my new, working i5300 wireless card the other day.  Not much to say, other than it works, and it is blazing fast!
